Wasn't there a problem with dosbox 0.70 where ZZT continuously slows down and such for some reason?

Every dosbox has that problem and it has to do with the repeat delays or something according to Exo.

No, I mean in dosbox 0.70 ZZT gets slower and slower over time. It also seems that how slow ZZT gets depends on how long dosbox has been running regardless of when ZZT was started.

EDIT: Also, as far as keyboard repeat delays, I think ZZT's always been like that, even outside of dosbox.

A couple of the boards ran really, really slowly (namely the #idiots-club board) but other than that it was good and I liked it and it was good.

i ... i was the one who was complaining ...

i didn't notice it getting slower and slower, but that might be because i don't play for very long. the message box draws pretty slowly, but board transitions seemed to be ok. increasing the clock cycles didn't fix the problem. i guess it must be because nadir sucks!
