it so is easier than kevedit! with kevedit if i want like a SKIN TONE or something i have to figure out the background color and the foreground color and the type of wall that needs to get colored that and all that shit
with THE DRACO TOOLKIT i just have to switch boards, see the one i like, hit enter, go to the other board, and bAM!

i use a freeware art/animation program called graphicsgale. it has a command for capturing either the entire screen or one window.
I used to use it to make pixel art, but the only thing I use it for now is taking screenshots of windows, lowering colour depth, and saving PNGs. also i use it sometimes to make animations and storyboards and doodle when I'm bored.
one major snag: you have to enter in your own hotkeys. But once you get used to it you can do lots of things on the fly -- layers, dithering, snap to grid, onion skin, etc.
It also has a palette editor for indexed colour images that lets you tweak individual rgb/hls values instantly.
I don't think they develop it anymore. the help file is also pure engrish.
