Asterix

Post by Dr. Dos »

I got to see Asterix in Britain or something.

I thought Nadir would like to know but he doesn't use LJ these days!.

Obelix was pretty badass.

Yeah but see the British guys were just drinking hot water with a spot of milk until Asterix's placebo herbs ended up inventing tea.

It was clever.

I've never actually sought out asterix, but everything I've seen of it I've really enjoyed. I was more of a Tintin guy when I was growing up. My local library had nearly every one.

it's funny because i was the opposite, every library in my local area had a good cross-section of asterix books, but i never really paid much attention to tintin although i did have a good amount of exposure to it via the cartoon

if there is one asterix comic i'd like to read again it would definitely be Asterix and the Roman Agent, that's one of the best ones
