The Owl (book)

Post by wil »

PEOPLE THIS IS IMPORTANT

I've just finished authoring and drawing my graphic novel, The Owl. It's a children's picture book, and I need two volunteers to have a look at the book and give me first impressions. From these I will determine whether further input is needed and locate some key areas to work on.

To potential volunteers:

I promise the book will not outstay its welcome, at 100 pages a little bigger than index cards it is quite a compact read. I'll send you a PDF. It will be about three megs. You will not start giving it out like candy, please.

If you are pretentious:

I am especially interested in having you volunteer because this is my only foray into postmodern deconstructionism, and I want someone who can understand the ironic subtleties of the illuminated themes to help me probe deeper the layering of earnestness and sarcasm that is the foundation of the work.

If you are not pretentious:

This will make you laugh. It's a children's book with a prominently featured inebriated owl.
