Yeah this is at my school. This one girl insisted that there are roots in root beer, and this guy didn't believe her. So they bet money on it. They called the root beer company and asked. They were told that there were root extracts. And the guy wouldn't pay because the operator said 'root extracts'...

For fun, my friend's father worked with his friend to create a Commodore equivalent before it was released. They finished it, but not in time. :(
