Gabriel looks like the softer one, and Karl looks like he's soft as well, but more optimistic about the world. He looks like he enjoys Asian food, indie movies, and probably has a retail job in electronics.

From an RPG I was working on not too long ago. Not much more than this, aside from old ideas.

Cool. Should make use of that one utility that transfers your save files from one file to another and just have it set a flag each time.

Dosbox/HyperCam works fine for me. I set the CPU up to 13000-15000 cycles when I use ZZT and for the most part it's pretty nice. I don't have anything else to add to this at the moment... But I am still interested. A game idea I had was to have a bunch of rooms and #put monster streams with a torch ...

High Score/Time Attack

Are there any ZZT games that you think would be suitable for high score/time attack listings/competitions? You can just use HyperCam and Youtube to submit your playing of the game. I suppose I could start yet another game with this being the main idea.

Well, I've been working on this engine, and it's not quite working correctly. http://rs71.rapidshare.com/files/137239 ... ottest.zip here's a link to it.

Edit: Oh yeah, the color keys shown aren't exactly accurate. The directions are supposed to be though.

My timeline:

12-13 years old - Tim Ruff
13 years old - Lemmer Will Kill You Bitch
15 years old - Hoganator

I miss the joys of making Tim Ruff and Lemmer Will Kill You Bitch. These days I just think of overly complicated engines and abandon/forget.

Nice, that would work. I actually have been wondering about the composer engine, that explains how it works now. This allows for a lot of other things, and solves the mystery for another engine I was working on.

More than a randomizer. See, in Carnage Heart you program robots by placing chips on a grid, and it acts accordingly. I wanted to recreate that so that you could place your own commands in a box and then let an object move around randomly and check to see what's near it, then send that command to th...
