Re: UNLZEXE win32 verified as a backdoor trojan(?)

How are ZZT 3.2 and UNLZEXE related? I don't understand what you're saying.

Re: Summer of 2011 z2 improvement thread

I've been tinkering with Python and looking through old threads, and here's my plan going forward. Chime in soon if I'm forgetting anything! I'm looking to update URLs as follows: 1. http://zzt.org/... -> http://zzt.org/... 2. http://zzt.org/... -> http://zzt.org/... 3. http://[www.]hillofants.com/z...

Re: ZZTV11

I will totally do a thing!

But I have to think of a channel name first.

Re: Summer of 2011 z2 improvement thread

I had an idea the other morning: I could write a script that would replace belsambar links in old posts. It would just be a matter of iterating through all posts in a given time range, doing a regex search-and-replace, and updating the database with the updated posts. I wonder how many posts there a...

Yep! I experienced it exactly as intended then.

Re: ZZTV10 RELEASED!

Yay!

Are the boards in #x0r correctly linked? I played through all boards for that channel, but I'm not sure my method was the intended method.

Also, in retrospect #trenchcoat is rather hard, and I apologize for that.

Re: Let's Analyze (The Town of) ZZT!

Out of curiosity, I copied-and-pasted a bomb explosion outline all over the bombs-and-stars room. This was the result: bombs.png All the blue-tinted breakables can be cleared without setting off any star-throwers. This is assuming unlimited bombs and the skill of perfect bomb positioning. The star-t...

Re: Let's Analyze (The Town of) ZZT!

I like the analytic approach. The downside of running in Dosbox is its known issue with it not cooperating with ZZT's input detection. There's a clear lag between holding a key and moving and holding one direction then switching to another causes a full stop. This does put me at a disadvantage as yo...

That was a nice 10-minute diversion. I liked the slider puzzle near the dark room.

Re: Metal Gear Solid VR Missions ZZT v2.50

The guy who did Preposterous Machines apparently had some problems.

I remember the Dos version being buggy, and I remember non-Dos versions of KevEdit crashing, but I've never lost data that was already saved to disk.

Still, backups are a really good idea.
