Well, we're still missing Pete the Pirate. Pirate's Peril was already in the archives.
Though I do want to for your work, though, regardless of what's found in there. :)

Re: Mirroring ZZT worlds
This download includes two copies of the old Pirates' Peril, and another of the remake.
It looks like we have a problem with our review system, too. Try looking at the reviews for Pirate Perils, and for Pete the Pirate -- it looks like you reviewed both games.
I hate it when history is lost. :(

I will have to take a look at these, to see if there's anything that's missing from our archives.

Re: Why I'm awkward about ZZT forums
Well, um... welcome to z2. We're pretty accepting, I guess. If you want to discuss ZZT, you're definitely welcome to do so here. I do recommend that you reduce your post length, though. If you distill your posts to something more concise and to-the-point, it will make it easier for others to partici...

Re: Far too many unfinished ZZT games to work on at once
I can't tell you how many abandoned projects I have under my belt. I had tons of fun working on them, so they did serve a purpose -- but they were never finished. I think that's true for many people. It doesn't look that way, because people almost never see your unfinished projects. But I suspect th...

That banner's caught attention at work. :] Not too long ago, I was eating lunch with my coworkers, and we started talking about websites and domain names. One of them asked me, "Do you have a website?" Well first, let me make it clear that most of the stuff on the website isn't my doing.....

Nice circuit boards!
Also, it's really awesome that you used actual film. That's pretty cool.

Friendly advice: check the date before you post, because there are a lot of old topics, and sometimes the previous poster hasn't been around for years.

Re: A new game idea
This could be interesting, but it is possible to overdo references in your game. Especially references to old things, such as FishIg . Tread very carefully. My advice: Being original and imaginative are your priorities. If you're going to make a reference, put a spin on it . Don't forget to put lots...

Wow. This project has really come a long way. This sort of development is really neat to me, because I love realism and attention to detail. I guess I'm a purist of some sort. :-) This really is one step closer to just emulating the DOS system itself. For a while now, I've wondered about writing a Z...

Re: Kevedit and Linux/DosBox
*nervously raises hand* Sorry for being several days late! My primary computer's fan is having issues, so I've been nomadic in my computer use. Prior experience: I used Linux KevEdit years ago. I don't think I ever got DOSBox integration running, which didn't matter to me at the time because DOSBox ...

Re: christmas time!
Whoa, I just saw the live-action movie of Fist of the North Star, just two nights ago! And now you mention it... and I just now recognized the character in the emoticon!
Two nights ago, I'd never heard of it before. And now it all comes tumbling in at once! Coincidence? I think so!
