I had the same fucking problem. It's either a trojan virus or spyware that deltes system files- Just go into your windows folder and go to the "Repair" folder and copy the autoexec.nt file and paste it in the "System32" folder- and you're good- --- You should back up the autoexe...

I was trying to load up a ZZT game after months of not having done so. And guess what? ZZT no longer works. I get the following message (translated from Dutch): 16-bit MS-DOS subsystem c:\random\blah\etc\zzt.exe c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. This system file is not suitable for MS-DOS and Windows...

my nickname derives from the early "hercules monitor". this was the first pc monitor that was capable of displaying highres graphics. i used to play "game of robot" ( www.game-of-robot.de ) on it, one of the very few games to this time supporting hercules graphic cards. greeting...
