You don't actually die even in those scenes. The "monsters" that jump on you don't attack you.

The game isn't scary or suspenseful, and I don't think it's meant to be. It's a departure from the rest of the series in many ways, and a successful one, in my opinion.

There's a pretty interesting game for the Wii called Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Unlike the other SH games, you have no weapons and don't fight with anything.

Hammerfight

There's a new independent game on Steam by some Russian developers called Hammerfight. It's a lot of fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1RnEotA-2U&feature=related http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m58/plecostomus_2006/vgames/hammerfight02.jpg http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m58/plecostomus...

I think Jumpman is pretty interesting. It's fun, though frustrating at times. (No relation to the old game called Jumpman.)

The Most Unwanted Song

In the 1990s, some artists took a survey to find out what the public likes and hates in music. Then they made a song that statistically most people should like and one that most people should hate. (They had done the same thing earlier with paintings .) The highlight of the project is the "Most...
