There are a couple fo games that I'm looking for that I can't find in the archives here. One is something like "Search for the Magic Hut" or "Quest for the Magic Hut" or something to that affect. It's a horrible game. It has yellow borders, no plot and is a pain to play. Why am I...

Having to use a pencil and paper is what made Riven (and it's predicessor, Myst. But Riven was better. :D) so enjoyable for me, personally. And why I'm playing Silent Hill 3 with the puzzles on hard. (And dang, that Shakespear puzzle was a doozy right off the bat.)

No boo for text adventures. Oh no. In addition to being a ZZT and MZX fan, I am also a fan of the old text adventures. Inform is a wonderful program nowadays that I've had fun with creating my own text adventures. Oh, and Adam Cadre rules.

Rouge-like

You know, I've never really considered the similarites between ZZT and Roguelike games. (such as ADOM or NetHack ) I mean, when you think about it, through ZZT even Megazeux is a great-great-great grandchild (or somesuch) of Rogue. The major differences are in, of course, the color capabilities of Z...

Dang. I'm sad to see that Ned the Knight has already been taken. By two people in fact. I first discovered Jeremy LaMar's work with Talon's Tale on MZX, and was quite amazed. Bernard the Bard, when it was finally finished was even more so. I hadn't even known about Ned the Knight until recently, on ...
