ZZT Experience Source
Yeah, I've officially given up on that heap of shit. Check the newly uploaded stuff. Update it, fix it, whatever. It's VB6 and not commented, very sloppy, but if you can read it, you may get a better understanding of how ZZT works. I hereby announce my withdrawal from the ZZT scene entirely. The End...

That's kind of what I was looking for, but I've got so much documentation on the ZZT format that I found out while I was programming the project that I really do think I've found out most of what's inside. I did, however, use that encyclopedia to figure out a few board elements, but in the end I do ...

Gentlemen of the forums, I have a dream of a place where a person can go and act completely retarded without any consequence. A place where he can say anything he desires, without fear of it following you around in the future. I, unfortunately, am a victim of forums that are taken too seriously. I ...

If it helps, there's a very meticulous, well-written ZZM parser in KevEdit, here: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/kevedit/kevedit/synth/ The relevent files are notes.c/h which defines a format-independent note-chain structure and zzm.c/h which actually parses ZZM into the note-chain structure...

Well, here's the catch. It has to work in the confines of the ZZT file format. That means, if the ZZT file format can't do it, then I can't. Don't suggest saving games, as it's already near perfection. I've been working on this project only 5 months, it's gone far, but school is back and it's haunti...

Oh yes, I forgot to mention this, but this thread should also double as a Feature Request thread, I don't want to start a third thread for this kind of thing. I'm running out of ideas for features for ZZTxp, so I want you to suggest some good ideas. Not all ideas will be in ZZTxp unless they're reas...
