Quantum P is awesome.
:whole: Thanks! I didn't notice that until now, but the project is due in a few weeks, then they review it, (then I pass because everyone else uses RPG Maker or something like that and puts zero effort into it), and then in March I can win a giant trophy. Anyways, I was gonna stuff the thing into QE...

Let the trolling commence. Let it commence hard. Like Aplsos. And I've never tried Fedora outside of a quick LiveUSB experiment, though it looked alright and has a kickass Plymouth screen. I'm sticking with Ubuntu because it was they that introduced me to Linux, and I'm interested in seeing their c...

Almost certainly. And I bet $10 and a pop tart that I could do a better job as admin myself. At least I know how to upgrade a damn computer and know that changing the screensaver doesn't make you an uberleet haxor. That and my ever-increasing Linux background. Weeeee don't use none of that lee-nux ...

Has to run from THEIR computer with THEIR windows XP with THEIR privileges. This is getting to be more of a race to see who can get past all of their bullcrap restrictions. Maybe that's why I was of the about 5 who entered, the only one who got anywhere, but was disqualified in the 2nd round because...

Another rule- it's gotta run from Windows XP with NO ADMIN PRIVILEGES. That sucks royally. Was thinking of running QEMU with Windows 95 and DOSBox, but then they don't get to hear my ZZT music masterpieces [ok, I can't work the composer at all. WiL I ain't. Actually, I haven't had the patience to ma...

They're complete retards when it comes to computers. At first, they refused to turn the computers off or the screensavers on. The windows logo was burnt into the screen. When I started turning off the computers, it finally hit them. Anyways, a few years later, in 2005, they upgraded their computers ...

[I know, I know, this post is really old, sorry!] Anyways, if you do know what's causing this, or how to fix it, please help me! The next competition is coming in February, and the only reason I won last year is because no one else entered. If someone else enters, and my game doesn't work, I'm screw...

You sir are awesome. :keen: Thanks! Anyways, I'm also liberally using it in my classes to create games with questions [pretty simple, go through the wrong door, get shot 3 or 4 times], and every time you answer a question right, you get to fight a pile of ruffians or bears or such. It's simple, but...

ZZT games playable online
There's a Java PC emulator that runs DOS, among other OSs. I found it on the internet playing Doom. I quickly threw my old ZZT copy into it and found it works quite well! Doing this would make the games playable from the internet, not requiring all sorts of DOSBox and other stuff [because Windows Vi...

New TSA Game
Surprised to see my post from a year ago is still on the front page! Anyways, I'm making a sequel to my game called Joe's Adventure 2: Slime Warriors. Just finished the title screen, game beta thingy coming soon. Everyone at my school seems to ooh and ahh over ZZT's text interface. And I even got my...
