Yay, it works, thanks for that.
Just one more note: if all 10 flags are set, then #if #whatever returns false, and #if not #whatever returns true.

My timing hacks paid off. [Conway's Life]
So, I implemented Conway's Game of Life in ZZT, yay, go me \o/ http://i45.tinypic.com/25gto4n.jpg Note: it's incredibly slow in DOSBox. I can't actually get that many cycles on this laptop and it's the most powerful computer I've got. Download: http://pubacc.wilcox-tech.com/~greaser/stuff/cgolgme.zz...

Uh, a few things: 1. ZZT Unlimited discussion is now in a new thread: http://zzt.org/fora/viewtopic.php?p=62042 2. Quantum P: You might want to update it... hopefully this will be the last time I have to pastebin it, as I'm looking into a free host (confirmed, yay, it's just trying to DNS it): http:...

ZZT Unlimited
So, while I wait for a particular free host I've signed up for to actually get my hosting working, I'm going to start a thread here. Stuff that's supported so far: - As many stats, flags, and bytes as your computer can handle. - Player clones. - Duplicators and the Koopo bug (minus the bit where it ...

OK, bugs fixed. ZZTris runs fine apart from the fact that the L piece, when rotated in a certain way, moves twice as fast as usual... or does it normally do that?
So yeah, http://rafb.net/p/JxYSQ291.html , get it while it's hot.
EDIT: A BKZZT would still be a good idea, though.

http://i44.tinypic.com/eq3z9w.png ...yes, that is my own port. It's designed to be ZZT without the limits. Teen Priest works quite well on all occasions except for the bit where the cops beat up Loco (the timing isn't too good) and the dancing engine (for some reason it doesn't end). Although it do...

Yeah, sure. It's pretty simple really. Just open up the ediException at 0x00147723 If you're not happy with ZZT, go with (dare I say it here) Megazeux. If you're not happy with that, go with GCC. Yes, I do mean the compiler. (although I'm working on a ZZT clone myself, which is supposed to be ZZT wi...

Old thread, second time in a row, but it should be worthwhile. These are tricks which aren't listed in the ZZT encyclopædia. All of them require reasonably precise timing. Rapid conveyor transport Rating: Easy, though requires an external editor to change conveyor cycles OR you could order the conve...

And then there's the trick, which you have a temporary flag, and an object with a bunch of #ZAP-ped labels. Something like: UNTESTED CODE ALERT! D: @flags #cycle 1 #end 'get01 #set has :get01 'set01 :clear01 #end :set01 #restore set01 #restore get01 #zap clear01 #end :clear01 #zap set01 #zap get01 #...
